V1.1.0 is out!


The game is now open source!

Here is the changelog:

  • Changed up some ambient sounds in Xen.
  • Improved Xen island textures.
  • Improved some music in the Finale, the difference is unnoticeable.
  • FinaleHelictoperTrigger now sends you to the Outro scene only if the music is not playing AND if you are in the helicopter.
  • Xen platforms have been improved.
  • Fixed a bug where you can rotate the camera while dead and paused in Xen.
  • Add "simplified mode" to Joe that gets activated on slower computers, making him easier to defeat on them.
  • Created a new pause system.
  • In the intro cutscene in Chapter 3, the music pauses whenever the game is paused.
  • Added a missing barrier to the Finale.
  • The moving platform textures have been improved in the Finale.
  • Add more tweaks to the Finale.
  • Fixed a bug where Baldi cannot go up the stairs in the Finale.
  • Fixed a bug where sometimes Joe cannot be knocked out, even when using the gel to jump very high in the Finale.
  • Now when Joe's sprite goes up after being knocked out, he doesn't get slow at the end in the Finale.
  • Fixed a bug where Baldi doesn't get rendered properly at the finale of Chapter 4.
  • Fixed a bug where if you stand on an edge, your velocity will keep on adding up, and once you fall you can fall with extreme speed, depending on how long you were standing there.
  • The Player is now in a prefab instance.
  • Fixed a problem with occlusion culling in Chapter 1.
  • Some packages have been updated.
  • Added the VS Code package to make scripting easier for VS Code users.
  • Fixed alien_cycletone.wav being compressed in a wrong way
